The Scene
A typical farm scene from the 19th century, heavy 4 wheeled, horse drawn vehicles were used to transport various supplies before the invention of engines and motor vehicles. Structures such as these were used for storing items like animal feed and bedding to keep them dry.
The Model
This was built from the 2 kits from the 1:35 scale Miniart diorama collection. Although a basic scene, a lot of attention was made to make it look real. The base was added to with a variety of simulated grass and dried leaves. The base, building and wagon were heavily weathered with various paint shades to create a realistic effect.
